Cancellation & Booking Policy

DAILY CLASSES

24+ Hours Before Class

Cancellations made at least 24 hours before class are eligible for:

  • Studio credit, or

  • Refund issued net of third-party processing fees

Processing fees are non-refundable.

12–24 Hours Before Class

  • No refunds

  • Eligible for a one-time reschedule to another class of equal value

2–12 Hours Before Class

  • No refunds

  • Eligible for a one-time reschedule to the same class only

Example: Sexy Heels → Sexy Heels, Femme Pop → Femme Pop.

Within 2 Hours of Class or No-Show

  • No refund

  • No reschedule

Spots canceled within 2 hours are forfeited due to limited capacity and instructor preparation.

WEATHER & TRANSIT POLICY

Free Mind the Studio will cancel classes only in cases of severe or unsafe conditions as determined by management.

If the studio remains open and class is held:

  • Standard cancellation policy applies.

  • We are not responsible for train delays, traffic, weather concerns, or commuting challenges.

Students are encouraged to allow additional travel time during inclement weather.

If Free Mind, the Studio cancels a class due to weather or safety concerns, participants will receive a full class credit for future use. Refunds will not be issued for weather-related studio cancellations.

INTENSIVES, POP-UPS & VISUAL PROJECTS

Due to limited capacity and production planning:

7-Day Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made at least 7 days before the start date.

7+ Days:

  • Studio credit or refund (net of processing fees)

Within 7 Days:

  • No refunds or credits

Participants may transfer their spot to another dancer (studio approval required).

Class Packs (3, 6, 10 Packs)

All class packages are non-refundable once purchased.

Packages are valid for the stated expiration period at the time of purchase and cannot be extended, transferred, or paused unless otherwise specified.

Unused classes do not roll over past the expiration date.

If a client is unable to attend due to travel or scheduling conflicts, the remaining classes must be used within the original expiration window.

Refunds will not be issued for unused classes.

Monthly Unlimited Membership

Monthly Unlimited memberships are billed at a flat monthly rate and are non-refundable.

Memberships cannot be prorated, partially refunded, or retroactively adjusted due to travel, illness, or schedule changes.

If you need to cancel your membership, you must do so before the next billing date, as stated in your confirmation email.

Once billed, the monthly fee is final for that billing cycle.

Payment Disputes / Chargebacks

By completing a purchase with Free Mind the Studio, you agree to our cancellation and refund policies.

Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute for services rendered or agreed upon may result in immediate suspension of booking privileges and additional administrative fees.

We encourage all clients to contact us directly to resolve any concerns.

NO EXCEPTIONS POLICY

To operate fairly and sustainably, we are unable to make exceptions outside of this policy.
