Joey the Alchemist

Native to Virginia, Joey the Alchemist often jokes their mother bred them and their brothers to live a life in the Arts. As soon as Joey could walk, they were dancing around the house in their mother’s heels. Soon after, they joined the competitive dance circuit training in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, and everything in between. Joey then spent their high school years performing with a pre professional ballet company, Southwest Virginia Ballet, as a principal dancer in tandem with receiving formal training in acting for film.  

Fresh out of high school, Joey moved to New York City to pursue a Bachelor’s in Business Economics with a minor in Arts and Entertainment Management at Pace University. Joey has spent the last decade in the city continuing to explore dance through the art of burlesque, acting in various short films and plays, and bartending throughout Manhattan.
